My Journey

I am a 2016 graduate of the University of Minnesota who studied Marketing, International Business, and Spanish Studies in the Carlson School of Management.

Following graduation I worked and saved money for the trip of a lifetime. I paid my debts and reached my goal by my 24th Birthday. On May 3, 2018 I jumped on my bike and took off solo. One year later I had pedaled 16,000 miles across all of North and Central America from Minnesota to Alaska to Panama.

In 2019 I started a company and pursued new opportunities and interests. I worked as a Commercial Salmon Fisherman in Bristol Bay, Alaska in addition to working in Residential Home Remodeling and Landscaping in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota.

In 2020 I began my career in medicine by joining the EMT Training Program at North Memorial Health. During EMT training I gained clinical experience in North Memorial's Level 1 Trauma Center/ED in addition to working on Ambulances. I greatly enjoyed shadowing and assisting Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses, and Paramedics. As of January 2021 I am a confident and competent certified EMT!

I have now landed in the Healthcare industry working my dream job in Medical Sales. My latest role was with Cepheid (a Danaher Company) as a Territory Sales Executive selling molecular diagnostic equipment to hospital laboratories. In my previous role I sold Hiossen Implant products to Doctors and Oral Surgeons.

In 2024 my fiancée and I decided to pause our thriving careers to pursue our biggest shared dream: to travel the world together. Six years after pausing my initial Americas bike tour, we rode the length of South America from Cartagena, Colombia to Ushuaia, Argentina arriving by bike April 12, 2025. We sent our bikes home then resumed our travels with six months of backpacking the rest of the world. Simply amazing!

I am so excited to leverage my skills and experiences to resume my professional journey and to continue finding ways to leave a positive impact on this world.
